This simple, safe, reversible modification allows you to be able to turn advertising on and off like a light switch - and we think you'll prefer it off. We do.
Instructions:
1.
Download the necessary file here.
2. Double click archive to decompress. Save
AdSubtract.css file somewhere on your hard drive.
3. In Safari, go to Safari>Preferences... and
choose the Advanced tab. (see image below)
Use the Style Sheet popup menu to choose the new
AdSubtract.css file wherever you have saved it on
your hard drive.
Voila! No ads.
ps. In the event you visit a website whose
legitimate content is blocked, simply repeat the
process above to turn the ad blocker off while you
are visiting that site, then turn it back on again
when you leave.
